[It's early morning when Willow finally wakes up, blinking the sleep from her eyes. It takes her a few minutes to realize she's not in bed at Buffy's house, like she was last night when she fell asleep. Had she actually fallen asleep or had she dozed off for a little? The pile of clothes next to her says she merely dozed off before bed, but she can't imagine why she'd be wearing such a... weird hospital-type gown if she'd merely "dozed off." Then again, she has no idea why she wouldn't be in bed, either.

She sits up and looks around. The fountain is at her back - and it's a pretty one, too - but she's more than certain she's never seen it before in her life. What on earth is going on around here?

Something flips nervously in her stomach. Did someone use magic and transport her inter-dimensionally somehow? Or did she do it? Fantastic. Maybe it's just a dream. She's hoping so about now.

Sighing, she sits there for a few minutes to gather her thoughts before getting up to look around for a place to get changed. This gown is doing nothing at all for her. It's about then that she notices the open journal by her feet. She picks it up and looks at it, not noticing - yet - that it's on and recording.]

Hello? What is this thing...?

Will--you don't. [Her face falls.] You don't have to be worried about that.

[ She looks back up to show Buffy just how torn apart she still is about all this. ]

But I hurt Dawn. I really screwed up and I don't want that to happen again.

That...that was a long time ago, Will. Old history. Practically ancient. The Greeks aren't even bothering to talk about it anymore. And you've done a lot of good, since.

[She is talking too fast; Buffy realizes the time difference between the two of them. She also realizes what fills that gap.]

[ Have a deep frown, Buffy. ]

...I don't want to lose control again. I can't.

[ And yet, her eyes really want to know if it's all okay in the end. ]

Willow, two years ago? You did the most amazing spell the world's ever seen. A real...game-changer. I mean it when I say you don't have to worry about it.

Okay... If you say so. [ Doesn't mean she's going to suddenly stop worrying. ]

I do say so. Look, Will? What's the last thing you remember--about home?

Riley and Mrs. Bitch flying away in their government-issued helicopter. [ Willow makes a face. She's had about enough of making with the nice with those two. ]

[ And now Buffy can understand where she's coming from. Hopefully. ]

The last time I used magic, I almost killed Dawn. So, no more magic for me. Keeping control.

Take your time with it, Will. And when you're ready? Well, I know you'll keep all the control you'll need.

[After flaying a man alive, of course.]

[ Yeaaaah how about no on that one. ]

I just... I don't think I'm ready. Not yet. [ She still looks kind of terrified of the idea. ]

Buffy... has... has Tara been here at all? [ She has to ask, earlier list of people Buffy knows who have been here be damned. ]

Will, I--[No, Buffy. You can't tell her. Not that. She shakes her head and tries her best to keep a lid on that spoiler.] Sorry, no Tara. It's for the best, really...here's not a great place to be.

[ Luckily, Willow's so wrapped up in worry over Tara that she doesn't catch onto that, thinking Buffy was about to remind her she'd listed everyone earlier. Her expression falls anyway. ]

Right. Of course. She'll be happier at home... without worrying about what I'm going to do next to her.

[ How can one or two things feel this. bad? ]

Exactly--happier at home. That's exactly how she w--is.

[Ugh. Buffy begins to walk more briskly.] The house is super close, now.

Buffy? [ She's still thinking Buffy was commenting on the whole being stuck here makes everything in the past deal. So... nothing weird for her, but the walking briskly thing? Yeah, that gets noticed. ]

It's just after this path.

[She glances over her shoulder, flicking a rather forced smile her way.] And then I can introduce you to the kitchen.

Kitchen. Right, kitcheny and food-like. [ She doesn't entirely believe that smile, but she'd hope Buffy would tell her if it was something really bad. ]

Look, Will--[She turns towards a specific house, now. Pausing on the porch.] It's pretty obvious I've got a few years on you, time-wise. Don't ask me how I know...it just happens, sometimes. If I ever even try to tell you about future things? Shoot me down. Slap me or mojo my lips shut or whatever. Just...make sure I don't.

[ And now Willow pauses, too, frowning worriedly. ]

Is it really that bad in the future?

[ Another pause... ]

I-if it's that important to you... I-i'll just remind you of this. What you just said.

It's not all bad. Just...mostly.

[ She really wants to know, now, but... she takes a step towards the door instead. ]

Then, I guess we should, uh, go inside before the people inside start thinking we're crazy people hanging out on their porch.

Believe me, in this house? Porch hanging in the least of all of our worries.

[But she holds the door open for Willow with a slight smile.]

[ That gets an interested look as Willow takes her first steps inside her new house. ]

Do I have to wait til the end of the tour to see my new room or is that the first or second stop?
