[It's early morning when Willow finally wakes up, blinking the sleep from her eyes. It takes her a few minutes to realize she's not in bed at Buffy's house, like she was last night when she fell asleep. Had she actually fallen asleep or had she dozed off for a little? The pile of clothes next to her says she merely dozed off before bed, but she can't imagine why she'd be wearing such a... weird hospital-type gown if she'd merely "dozed off." Then again, she has no idea why she wouldn't be in bed, either.

She sits up and looks around. The fountain is at her back - and it's a pretty one, too - but she's more than certain she's never seen it before in her life. What on earth is going on around here?

Something flips nervously in her stomach. Did someone use magic and transport her inter-dimensionally somehow? Or did she do it? Fantastic. Maybe it's just a dream. She's hoping so about now.

Sighing, she sits there for a few minutes to gather her thoughts before getting up to look around for a place to get changed. This gown is doing nothing at all for her. It's about then that she notices the open journal by her feet. She picks it up and looks at it, not noticing - yet - that it's on and recording.]

Hello? What is this thing...?

What kind of dimension is this? Are demons in control or something else?

Uh... I don't know what dimension it is. Demons aren't in charge either, although I guess that term is debatable.

It's another dimension with really creepy and annoying people in charge. I think that covers it!

It's not exactly the first time I've heard of something like this. [How about that demon dimension Buffy visited in L.A. while she was Anne? Or some of the ones Anya talked about? This definitely isn't any worse than those.]

I've heard of comparisons that are worse.

Being a human slave, having to work all the time, and time moving a lot faster in the demon dimension. [ So matter of fact. ] Also, some hell-gods are really hard to take down.

Sounds to me like you're describing full-time employment. [ ... Yeah, he rarely takes anything magical-related seriously. ]

Or college. [ Oh he just might once she gets her confidence back. Maybe. If that'll ever happen. ] Could be a lot of things. Maybe we've always lived in a demon dimension and never knew it. That'd explain the crazy number of mystical beasts around Sunnydale. [ Not counting, y'know, the mystical Hellmouth. ]

[ But... Willow needs to be a blonde before she can press him under her thumb. ] Blood sucking bastards, right? I hate to break it to you, but there are a few of those things here already.

[ Yeah, well, he's also a man so there's no chance of that anyway. Oh well. ] Yeah, I've heard. Spike's one. Drusilla was. At least they picked the relatively harmless one to keep.

... But they're vampires. [ it almost comes out as a whine. He is not happy with the Spike/Buffy union. ]

[ And Willow doesn't even know about it. ] Believe me, I know. The only reason we kept Spike around was because he had a chip in his head that made it impossible for him to hurt humans. Made him relatively harmless, though effective against other things. And he did help us watch Dawnie last summer.
