Halloween's coming up soon, right? ...Why do I get the feeling something really bad's gonna happen soon?

U-uh, so... how are everyone's costumes? Did anyone else get one chosen for them? Instead of, y'know, choosing your own? Or a-am I the only one lucky enough to not be able to keep one on... Uh! I-I mean, not keep the original one... uh, there's no good way to say that, is there?

...I think I'll stop now... Maybe it's time for more leaf-cleaning efforts.

[ She's wandering around town today, looking at the various costumes and trying to find a way to get out of hers. It's not really the worst, but... well, it brings back some memories. So, if anyone's out and about, feel free to comment on her rather leathery look. When not in town, she's hanging around the house, probably testing out her new leaf blowing wind magic. She can be encountered pretty much anywhere. ]

((ooc: still on hiatus ~~hoping to end it soon~~, so tags will be very slow in coming, but I had to get this up. For realistic efforts, she'll "gain" qualities of a normal Buffy vamp. Oh, hey are those real fangs, and oh, hey, did her face just change? Go nuts :D ))

I think nearly everyone has had an outfit chosen for them. Whenever we take them off, they return in a matter of minutes.

But that's not really fair. I-I already had to wear this outfit and it wasn't even Halloween then!

[ While Willow is practising her magic, this smouldering hunk of a man (http://i.imgur.com/6192B.jpg) braves the spooky atmosphere (and any embarrassment) and emerges from the front door when he spots the red-head in the garden. Is that apprehension in his face? Most likely; or it could be surprise at her leathery outfit, of course. ]

[ Well, she looks about as uncomfortable as he does when she looks up after a particularly failtastic effort at guiding leaves with wind. It ends up being more blasting effort and leaves in her face than actual guiding. ]

I guess this is an everyone curse, huh?

Yeah, trying to. It's harder than I thought it would be. [ And there are loads of extenuating circumstances to work around. ]

They don't usually do the costume thing? Do they just... change your body on Halloween?

You had more a choice back then.. sort of. Last year, I ended up in a costume from classic literature. I fully expect to end up in my own uniform if I'm still stuck here a year from today. I guess they have a flair for Halloween.

A lot of things have a flair for Halloween. I just hope it's not going to be anything like Sunnydale's version of Halloween. [ She picks unhappily at one of her sleeves. This thing makes her feel so uncomfortable! ]

She seems a little on edge, glancing around and wincing every so often. Kefka's laughter isn't an easy thing to ignore. But she tries to smile as she spots the other ahead.]

[ Willow would trade in a heartbeat. She looks like she wants to be anywhere but here at the moment, but she manages a smile when she spots Terra. ]

It's just...I keep seeing things that aren't there. But I know it can't last, right? It's only for a few more days.
