1 Wicca spell [Action/Accidental Voice]

[It's early morning when Willow finally wakes up, blinking the sleep from her eyes. It takes her a few minutes to realize she's not in bed at Buffy's house, like she was last night when she fell asleep. Had she actually fallen asleep or had she dozed off for a little? The pile of clothes next to her says she merely dozed off before bed, but she can't imagine why she'd be wearing such a... weird hospital-type gown if she'd merely "dozed off." Then again, she has no idea why she wouldn't be in bed, either.

She sits up and looks around. The fountain is at her back - and it's a pretty one, too - but she's more than certain she's never seen it before in her life. What on earth is going on around here?

Something flips nervously in her stomach. Did someone use magic and transport her inter-dimensionally somehow? Or did she do it? Fantastic. Maybe it's just a dream. She's hoping so about now.

Sighing, she sits there for a few minutes to gather her thoughts before getting up to look around for a place to get changed. This gown is doing nothing at all for her. It's about then that she notices the open journal by her feet. She picks it up and looks at it, not noticing - yet - that it's on and recording.]

Hello? What is this thing...?

A guy for Mc- [ Wait... ] Oh... oh A guy.

[ Willow makes notes of where things are in the kitchen before following Buffy down a hallway. ]

You're afraid he won't remember what happened between you.

He was--still is--McCoy's commanding officer kinda guy. A Captain. He left about six months ago, and...yeah, if he comes back? He probably won't remember mer. I mean, you don't remember them. It's how it works, here.

[She pushes open the door to one of the empty rooms.] Yours for the taking.

Oh, Buffy. [ Willow looks at her sadly for a minute as she steps into the room and then best friend can't help hugging her. She understands what it's like to lose someone you care about, though at least both of hers remembered her. ]

It's a great room. Lacking a few details of my room at home- [ Which is really, technically, Buffy's mom's room, but details. ] -but it'll do.

Anything you want, you can find out in the shops. Mostly anything.

[She leans against the door frame, arms crossed.]

Mostly? I'm guessing no star-studded crosses or bottles of holy water?

Guess that wasn't it, then.

[ She pauses and moves to sit down on her bed. ]

Buffy... do you think anyone else will turn up?

Normally, new people come every month. But--really? Something weird went down. We had no New Feathers for a long while and you're kinda part of the first new batch. Who knows.

I guess... everything's getting a little weird, huh.

[ She takes a minute to look around the room and miss Tara even more before she flops back against the pillows. ]

Maybe they won't. Maybe they'll be back home, where they should be, where it's better.

[ As far as she knows, anyway. ]

Exactly. If people are home? Then they're...doing what they gotta do. And they're not being side tracked, here. It's...good.

[But she reaches for Willow's hand.] But, even still? I'm glad your here.

[ She sits up and squeezes Buffy's hand in a total bff way, with a small smile. ] I'm just glad I know someone here. Coming here and adjusting is bad enough, but doing it alone would be so much worse. So... I'm glad you're here, too.

When I showed up, it was just Angel and Faith and Spike. Kind of a motley welcoming crew.

At least Angel and Spike would have been a welcoming committee.

[ The weird look on her face should indicate what she thinks of Faith, though. ]

Angel was...more than a little complicated. And Spike isn't quite the same timeline Spike we've got today.

It's never sunshine and roses with us, is it? Sunnydale is like, rose- and sunshine-free.

[She says, with the full fledged knowledge that it certainly was.]

[ Totally teasing, but y'know, they kind of need it. ]

So--now that the vague intros are pretty much through with, do you have any questions? Concerns? Beyond the oh my god, kidnapped.

Food's in the fridge. Help yourself. I'll--hey, maybe it's best if I give you a chance to rest? Sleep off the wing pain?

[ She smiles and gives a slight nod, reaching back to touch a wing, kinda like she's trying to be sure it's actually real. ]

I probably should sleep, at least rest a little, get used to the idea of being here. I can't tell if I actually did sleep last night or if I just closed my eyes and woke up here. Kinda feels about the same either way.
